Can a forest be an experiment? Marking an exciting new chapter for Luxembourg's forests, a commitment by Indosuez Wealth Management via the Fondation pour le Climat under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg will give life to the Klimabësch conservation project, run by the Fondation Hëllef fir d'Natur. The aim? Experimental forests, veritable living laboratories where research teams study how diverse, site-adapted forests can better withstand the challenges posed by climate change. Thanks to Klimabësch, a former monoculture fir plantation in the commune of Clervaux, once vulnerable and poor in biodiversity, will begin its transformation into a climatically stable, species-rich forest reserve. This living experience will provide valuable information for resilient reforestation and sustainable forest management across Luxembourg.
