Our sponsored projects

Protecting nature in Luxembourg requires resources that donations alone cannot always cover. This is why companies choose to sponsor specific projects from conception to completion. Here are the projects that exist thanks to these partnerships — and an open door for those who would like to join the adventure.

ArcelorMittal

ArcelorMittal supported us in creating a biodiversity protection zone on a plot of land in Dudelange (section C, 3266/729, known as Eecherthalerklapp).

Cactus

Cactus is a long-standing partner with whom we have carried out numerous projects, such as the "Cactus Weier", "Cactus Bësch", and "Cactus Bongert". We are currently creating the "Cactus Blummewiss", which will feature an educational trail to give the public access to this nature reserve.

Furthermore, Cactus offers its customers two local products: "Séisse Viz" and "Bio Naturbrout". Cactus donates a portion of the sales proceeds from these products to us.

Cargolux

Cargolux helped us develop and design the Haangebierg nature reserve.

Creos

Together with Creos, we produce an annual educational brochure on various areas of nature. Our latest publication focuses on insects and is available free of charge at the Nature Shop in Kockelscheuer or as a PDF on our website.

Fidelity

Fidelity supports the development of nature reserves with a focus on management and restoration activities. Planting trees and local species is crucial for restoring and enriching biodiversity, while promoting the long-term health of ecosystems.

Indosuez

With the Fondation de Luxembourg, Indosuez Luxembourg supports projects aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change, such as tree planting or clean-up days.

JP Morgan

JP Morgan supports us through management and restoration activities (such as planting and clean-up days) to enhance biodiversity and ecosystem balance, while minimizing human impact.

LandImmo

Together with LandImmo Real Estate, we have a management and development project in our Ditgesbaach reserve at the "Spillbongert".

Logicor

Logicor helps us promote concrete environmental projects in our nature reserves, such as tree planting or habitat management through conservation work camps. Volunteers can get involved, learn, and make a real difference for the environment.

Mediahuis

The Lëtzebuerger Wort launched a project where not only do they support us themselves, but their readers also have the opportunity to donate towards reforesting former spruce stands ravaged by bark beetles as well as successional areas. Through the "Planzt mat!" project, we were able to reforest a large plot in Surré, and we are now starting a new reserve in Niederfeulen. Readers who participated in the project also had the opportunity to visit the site to discover the success of this initiative.

Mediation

Mediation SA supports the management and development project for a 27-are reserve in Hobscheid.

Nature & Découvertes

Nature & Découvertes, located at the Belle Étoile shopping center, invites its customers to round up their purchases to support one of our projects. Last year, thanks to their donation, we had the honor of supporting the beaver and the Cornelysmillen reserve; this year, they are fundraising for the wildcat and our Groheck reserve.

Reiffeisen

For several years, Raiffeisen has helped us plant trees in Luxembourg. This year, we had the honor of planting our 100,000th tree together—a considerable achievement and a real gain for Luxembourg's nature.

Rosport

For several years, Rosport has supported the management and development of our Schlammwiss reserve.

UBS

UBS supports the development of nature reserves focusing on management and restoration actions, often carried out through conservation work camps. These camps, which may include planting trees and native species, are crucial for restoring and enriching biodiversity while fostering the long-term health of ecosystems.
