The Water Education Center (WEZ), located in the Kalborn mill in northern Luxembourg on the banks of the Our, is an environmental center specializing in water education. Open to schoolchildren, universities and private groups (birthday parties, clubs, etc.), the WEZ is located in the heart of the Our Valley Natura 2000 area. This proximity to nature provides an ideal setting for excursions into ecology, limnology, botany, geology and much more.
Open to schools since 2016, the WEZ expanded its program from 2017 to also welcome university groups, allowing them to rent rooms and explore the mill's surroundings. The center is currently funded by the LEADER program.
